Bang Olufsen Serene
Positives:
The Bang & Olufsen Serene is a beautiful and elegant phone with a truly unique design. It even has a built-in motor to assist you in opening and closing the phone.
Negatives:
The Bang & Olufsen Serene is not built for practicality. It requires a special screwdriver to access the battery and the SIM card, and its circular keypad takes some getting used to. The phone's camera lens is positioned on the side of the device, making it difficult to align snapshots via the viewfinder on the display. Also, the Serene is extremely cost-prohibitive.
Facts:
The Bang & Olufsen Serene is a showpiece of a cell phone with a design unlike any other. Unfortunately, form does not meet function, and the Serene is more suited to be showcased in a museum rather than carried around in your pocket.

E-Ten G500
Positives:
The E-Ten G500 does it all with a GPS receiver and a camera, as well as cell phone and PDA capabilities. The smart phone also boasts Bluetooth 2.0 and reasonably solid performance.
Negatives:
The E-Ten G500 is heavy and doesn't include Wi-Fi or EDGE support. Also, it doesn't come with navigation software, so you can't use the GPS functionality out of the box.
Facts:
The E-Ten G500 can help you save time and space with its PDA, cell phone, GPS, and camera functions, but this jack-of-all-mobile-trades is heavy, lacks advanced wireless options, and doesn't include the needed navigation software.

Compact; easy to use; personalization options; parents will appreciate the phone's lack of support for text messaging.
Negatives:
So-so performance; bare-bones menu structure; exposed emergency button; kids will bemoan the phone's lack of support for text messaging.
Facts:
With parental controls, ease of use, no text messaging, and a prepaid calling plan, the Firefly phone is an ideal mobile for tweens.

Positives:
The Helio Music store allows for affordable over-the-air song downloads, plus the option of having a copy of the song download to your PC. You have the ability to "Gift" and "Beg" for selected songs, you can explore new music via recommended tunes, and get notification of new songs via an Artist Alert service.
Negatives:
The Helio Music store does not offer a PC store at this time, and you can only download songs over the air. Also, you can't use the purchased songs as ringtones, which actually cost more than the full-length songs. The Helio Music store is only compatible with only two handsets so far.
Facts:
The Helio Music store is great if you're an existing Helio customer who needs to get a music fix while on the go. However, we suggest waiting a little while longer for Helio to really ramp up its service with a full-fledged PC store.

Positives:
The I-mate Jaq3 sports a sleeker design and adds a 2-megapixel camera and integrated Wi-Fi. The Windows Mobile 5 smart phone also has integrated Bluetooth, push e-mail capabilities, and the I-mate Suite, which provides extra productivity and security utilities to the business user.
Negatives:
The Jaq3's performance is sluggish and call quality was poor. Video playback was choppy, and there's no 3G support.
Facts:
While the I-mate Jaq3 offers a number of improvements over its predecessor, this Windows Mobile smart phone falls way short of the competition with poor performance.

LG VX8700
Positives:
The LG VX8700 has a stunning and attractive stainless-steel design. It also has impressive multimedia features, and the call quality was great.
Negatives:
The LG VX8700 has a flat keypad and lacks external music player controls, and the microSD card slot is inconveniently located behind the battery. The VX8700 does not come with a USB cable or a microSD card, so there are additional costs to reap the full benefits of the music player.
Facts:
The LG VX8700 is a gorgeous phone with plenty of multimedia features that are sure to please if you can get past its design flaws. Also, the need to purchase additional accessories can be a pain.

Positives:
The Motorola Q boasts a sexy, ultrathin design and features a sharp display, a full QWERTY keyboard, and multimedia functionality. The Amp'd Edition also includes access to the carrier's TV and music services, and it features a revamped, hipper interface. This Windows Mobile 5 smart phone has integrated Bluetooth, a speakerphone, a 1.3-megapixel camera, and solid call quality.
Negatives:
Video playback on the Moto Q, Amp'd Edition was a bit choppy, and it was sluggish when accessing and downloading multimedia content.
Facts:
The Motorola Q, Amp'd Edition brings a fresh look and content to the Windows Mobile smart phone that will appeal to the provider's younger audience.
